Syncier is a new company that Allianz has created in 2018 to offer all insurance companies a cloud-based management platform for their insurance contracts. Syncier also develops products and services that support insurers on their path to digitalization.

To accompany this path from traditional insurance to more digitalized, agile companies and to operate our solutions professionally, we are looking for dedicated new colleagues. We have many exciting tasks in and around the operation of the platform, the setup and configuration of products and functions according to the customer base and customer needs as well as the support of migration projects. We are also constantly researching and developing new, innovative ideas for insurers.

Business Analyst (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
  • You will be responsible for the analysis and design of products, functions and processes for mapping customer inventories in the platform.
  • You advise our customers and the users of our platform and develop joint solutions with them.
  • You coordinate your topics across all processes, including all functional and technical interfaces.
  • You order function and process adaptations by means of user stories including the definition of acceptance criteria and acceptance-relevant test case constellations related to the end-2-end process.
  • You specify migration rules.
  • You provide the platform user with professional and application-related operational support.
Your profile:
  • You have successfully completed your studies in (business) mathematics, (business) informatics, physics, business administration or insurance with an above-average result or a comparable education.
  • You have good knowledge of business processes (e.g. application, portfolio or benefit processes) and life insurance products and their technical mapping in portfolio systems.
  • You have the methodical knowledge of a business analyst including requirements and process management.
  • You are characterized by a good technical understanding, so that you can act as a sparring partner for the developers.
  • You have already been working for several years in project work (preparation of requirements analyses and implementation specifications, testing and acceptance of functions), where experience with agile methods (e.g. Scrum) would be an advantage.
  • You have very good analytical and conceptual skills as well as a strong understanding of technical interrelationships and are well-versed in working with tools such as UML, XML, SQL, data models and MS Office.
  • You have a confident appearance, strong coordination and communication skills, flexibility and the ability and willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics.
  • You enjoy working in cross-functional teams and bringing together different partners with different perspectives.
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills round off your profile and make you the ideal candidate for Syncier.
