Data Engineer (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
  • Create and maintain a data warehouse storing analytics/metrics data.
  • Develop and maintain a scalable and resilient data pipeline retrieving data from multiple sources, transforming and storing them in the data warehouse.
  • Work closely with our frontend and backend engineers to maintain the API for retrieving time-series data from the data warehouse.
  • Work together with the devops team to ensure smooth continuous integration.
Your profile:
  • Hold a university degree in the area of computer science or similar.
  • Have 3+ years experience in data engineering.
  • Know at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Scala, Kotlin or Python.
  • Have experience in working with unstructured data.
  • Know how to build a data pipeline from scratch.
  • Have experience with Apache Kafka.
  • Are willing to learn new technologies and programming languages.
  • Take ownership of and responsibility over your work projects.
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced agile environment.
  • Have strong written and verbal English skills.
Having the following is a plus:
  • Knowledge of / experience with API gateways (Kong, Azure, AWS, etc.) as well as knowledge of Lua and/or Go.
