Syncier is a new company that Allianz has created in 2018 to offer all insurance companies a cloud-based management platform for their insurance contracts. Syncier also develops products and services that support insurers on their path to digitalization.

To accompany this path from traditional insurance to more digitalized, agile companies and to operate our solutions professionally, we are looking for dedicated new colleagues. We have many exciting tasks in and around the operation of the platform, the setup and configuration of products and functions according to the customer base and customer needs as well as the support of migration projects. We are also constantly researching and developing new, innovative ideas for insurers.

Senior Sales Manager (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
  • You identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, and customers.
  • You seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation and generate leads. 
  • You will meet customers / clients face to face or over the phone.
  • You understand the needs of your customers and are able to respond effectively to these needs with a plan.
  • You think strategically - you are able to see the big picture and set goals and objectives to develop and improve the business.
  • You work strategically, carrying out necessary planning to implement operational changes.
  • You will draw up client contracts (depending on the size of company, this task may be completed by someone else or agreements may not be as formal). 
  • You have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and are able to advise others. 
  • You ensure staff is on board throughout the organisation and understand the need for change and what is required of them. 
  • You liaise with the finance team and seek ways of improving the way the business operates.
  • You attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate.
  • You keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
Your profile:
  • You have 5 years+ experience in sales management and a proven track record with strategic accounts in the insurance industry.
  • Your strength is your ability to think strategically and drive transformational sales programmes.
  • You convince with your intercultural awareness and experience.
  • You are able to deal with a rapidly changing environment and are able to lead change where necessary.
  • You are capable of working for projects in a flat-organisation.
  • As a senior level employee, you enjoy to mentor other employees. 
  • You have strong leadership qualities and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Very good German and English language skills complete your profile and make you the ideal candidate for Syncier.
