Your tasks:
- You are responsible for IT Architecture of our Reinsurance Management solution.
- You understand customers' overall IT landscape, IT priorities, and success measures in order to deliver solutions based on customers' requirements .
- You are responsible for architecture design (together with architects from our partners) to make sure that all technical requirements are gathered and provide input in the creation of technical and architectural solutions.
- You specify and continuously improve the performance of our architectural strategies and technology choices, e.g. Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) patterns, microservices, event-driven architecture, cloud environments (private, public, and hybrid), etc.
- You interact with management and colleagues from other areas in order to provide analytical and technical assistance for the continuous improvement of our solutions.
- You work directly with the security and compliance team to support their efforts.
Your profile:
- You have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- You have proven working experience of at least 5 years in the information technology sector with international/intercultural background including experience in Software Development and Architecture.
- You are equipped with profound knowledge of technical analysis, specification of technical and architectural requirements, and solution designs of distributed software applications.
- You have knowledge and experience in R3 Corda and object-oriented programming such as Java / Kotlin / Python / Spark.
- You have comprehensive knowledge and experience with cloud platforms and integration strategies.
- You have a proven ability to build and maintain executive level relationships and present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Understanding of the business processes and the supporting information systems used by insurance or reinsurance companies is a plus.
- Fluent English language skills complete your profile, German is a plus.
