Senior System Engineer (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
  • You are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and configuration of the cloud insurance platform.
  • You build solutions for application architecture and infrastructure components.
  • Your tasks concern the automation of infrastructure, application deployment, and operations.
  • You are responsible for producing technical documentation and architecture diagrams for application and infrastructure layers.
  • You represent the third level of support for infrastructure and cloud platform incidents.
  • You are responsible for documenting runbooks for the 1st and 2nd level support teams to resolve low-level incidents.
Your profile:
  • You are self-motivated, self-driven, and have a team-player attitude.
  • You possess the aptitude and eagerness to learn new technologies.
  • You have proven Linux/Unix System Administration experience.
  • You know LDAP, OpenLDAP, Active Directory, Kerberos.
  • You have already worked with Weblogic, Tomcat, or other Java runtime environments.
  • Ideally, you have expert knowledge in at least one technical area: Azure Infrastructure, Azure services - Azure Active Directory (AAD), AAD Domain Services, Azure Federation Services. 
  • You have experience working with Microfocus Enterprise Server (MFES) or other application runtime emulators.
  • You have already worked with DB2 or other relational databases.
  • You have configured and administered monitoring tools (Nagios, Prometheus).
  • You have experience with Containerization and Container Orchestration.
  • You have knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD Tooling, Jenkins, Artifactory, Nexus.
  • You have excellent problem solver skills and the ability to reverse engineer complex systems.
  • You are security-minded with experience automating and deploying secure and segregated infrastructure.
  • You have fluent written and spoken English skills.
  • Your passion for automation, having used either Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet, round off your profile and make you the ideal candidate for Syncier.
