Test Manager (m/f/d)

Test Manager (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
  • You define the Test Strategy, Test Plan and Test scope in alignment with various stakeholders (internal as well as customer teams).
  • You negotiate the ongoing purpose and deliverables of the test effort.
  • You ensure appropriate planning and management of the test resources.
  • You ensure the appropriate Test infrastructure and Test prerequisite availability.
  • You organize and coordinate complex Testing efforts across teams, from product side as well as customer side.
  • You ensure overall testing goals as defined in the Test Strategy are met with appropriate handling of risks or issues encountered during execution.
  • You work closely with external Test service provider teams for planning and execution of tests from onshore/offshore/nearshore locations.
  • You ensure testability by timely resolution of critical defects by coordinating with implementing teams.
  • You develop Testing reports at various stakeholder levels, e.g at operational, mid or higher management.
  • You assess the progress and effectiveness of the test effort.
  • You report the Testing progress, issues and risks at various steering/stakeholder levels and organize steps to address risks and issues.
Your profile:
  • You have a completed apprenticeship or degree in Business Informatics, Software Engineering or an equivalent field.
  • You have several years of work experience in a professional Software Testing or Quality Assurance environment. Insurance domain experience is a plus.
  • Your demonstrated effectiveness of working across multiple business units helps you to achieve results.
  • You are equipped with a sound understanding of Software Development Life cycle and associated Testing methodologies, e. g. Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid.
  • Working experience in Data Migration Testing is a plus.
  • You have experience in commonly-used Testing tools, e.g. Microfocus, Tricentis TOSCA, JIRA.
  • You are willing to travel to clients’ locations when needed (across Germany and Europe but mainly Munich).
  • Good English and German skills complete your profile and make you the ideal candidate for Syncier.
